I have always considered that there is something out there that we have either been estranged from or have just but abandoned the truth and true meaning of our brief but exciting trip on Earth.
There has always been this foreign object in the eye-like feeling since I was young. Herman Meville in Moby Dick said: “As for me, I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote. I love to sail forbidden seas, and land on barbarous coasts” a feeling that he deeply craved to satisfy, just as the majority of us find ourselves contemplating over and over in our daily lives.
When I was all set to go to sleep I would contemplate in my bed thinking and wondering why me, why here, who am I, why did I come here – why can’t I pierce the shroud that keeps my thoughts from wondering away into the beyond. As you have noticed, the noun “I” is and will be repeated throughout the articles on this page. Even though this appears to refer to my ego – point of discussion in future articles – in fact “I” refers to both you, him, her, they, myself and everyone who has wondered the same thing as I have. It is this particular calling that has brought all the”I-s” together on this website and others of similar interest. Otherwise, you would not be reading this article right here and now – but would rather browse shopping websites, glamour and movie-star pages, watch X-factor, make-up tutorials on youtube or even playing Farmville or candy crush.
You attend school, college or university and you are being taught matters which might not be of interest to you. You learn history which is never what it seems to be and only one side of its truth. A wall with mould painted with white paint to reflect just the surface of what happened and with the consequences left for another day – a day which never comes about.
You soon realise that your mundane life is not enough. You then got out of your comfort zone and progress in one way or another in the man-made society and have made your way up the career path. You then discovered that relationships are important as well and that the opposite sex is never in our grasp – even though being with the opposite sex is a normal and natural process in any being’s life. Yet you struggle for fulfilment and there is the sensation that no matter what person you meet it is never going to suffice.
Your level in this regard is average or below and you tend to conform and move on and focus again on your career path and contribute to society in hopes that the inner “emptiness” will be filled somehow by proving your prowess. Yet it never is.
You then continue to live your life and achieve these accomplishments that society had intended for you ever since your mother named you and were registered with your birth certificate.
Settling down is the next step and you have children, a house, a car, pay your taxes, loans, credits, walk on the pavement, go to church or the movies.
You watch TV, read magazines and even glimpse at advert covers on the buses or store windows and see a half-naked woman. You then go home and realize that your wife which gave birth to your 2 children does no longer fit in the society’s standards of good looking and so problems appear. Your divorced mates seem to enjoy their regained “freedom” and so you join them. Your kids grow up without a father and mother.
You then get married for a second time – rinse repeat.
Retirement is next, and cruises and sunny holidays are enjoyed.
Then people mourn at your funeral and they continue doing the same thing – rinse repeat.
If you have reached this point of the article you probably thought of exactly the same things as I have and decided to do something about it and change the course of your ride. Your life.
Interview with Your Consciousness is no ordinary website, as you have probably noticed.
The name of this website is not random as it is based on a deep fundamental principle. A principle dissected long ago by philosophers of old such as Aristotle or Galileo Galilei. Having attained the possibility to actually “sit down” and discuss with your consciousness will offer you information to all of your questions.
Together, we will discover what our mission on earth truly is.
We will endure, we will learn. We will dwell into the human conscious and subconscious in an effort to become fully aware.
Aware and Awake.
We will approach the side of media – news, movies, music, books, cartoons, adverts and videos. We will discover what the true destiny of the societies’ elites for us is. We will talk about what it takes to become what we were meant to be.
I will present the ways we can avoid being connected to the machine and how to break free – to become awake.
As William Bramley (Bramley, 2005) states in “The Gods of Eden”, “Human history is a seemingly endless succession of bloody conflicts and devastating turmoil. Yet, inexplicable, in the light of astonishing intellectual and technological advancement, Man’s progress has been halted in one crucial area: he still indulges the primitive beast within and makes war upon his neighbours.” You have to wonder why?
Nothing happens without a reason or a set-out plan.
